Quén?
Son Alba troiteiro, cre-eadora galega; son de crear cousas e de creer na voz delas.
Namorada do barroco, do claroscuro e do anacrónico.
Uso o debuxo coma ferramenta de coñecemento e materialización de ideas. O debuxo como acción que me permite trazar liñas dende o arte de oficio ao oficio da arte.
Qué?
Neste ir e devir de ideas, nace un proxecto que se expande do plano artístico ao textil.
O pano tradicional é o eixo central dende onde parten as pezas. Interésanme especialmente as diferentes lecturas que este atuendo é, foi ou podería ser.

Actualmente traballo na creación dunha colección de panos de autora. En realidade son evocacións ilustradas de historias. Son presentacións de escenas onde as personaxes están recollidas dende cadros clásicos da pintura, de fotografías documentais ou mesmo imaxes do meu propio álbum familiar.
Son evocacións abertas, caóticas. Son panos con aroma.
Cómo?
O berce dos bocetos son elaborados con técnicas variadas. Bolígrafo, tinta china, pintura ou carvado en vinilo son as máis usadas. Coa serigrafía artesanal e a pintura á man alzada fago a traducción ao soporte.
Todo está elaborado con lentitude. É este o ritmo que firma cada unha das pezas.
Por qué?
Este proxecto nace case dunha necesidade vital. É un toparse no pano tradicional. O textil coma unha segunda pel que podes mudar a pracer. Sempre traballo partindo de un xogo. Aquí o xogar é esconderse ou mostrarse, velar ou revelarse. Unha posta en escena entre a tradición e a libertade, a búsqueda de unha mesma nese camiñar.
who I am?
I'm Alba Troiteiro, a Galician author. I am creating things and believing in their voices.
In love baroque, chiaroscuro and anachronistic things.
I use drawing as a tool for knowledge and materialization of ideas.
Drawing as an action that allows me to draw lines between the art of art and craft.
What?
In this go and future of ideas, a project that expands from the artistic to the textile is born.
The traditional cloth is the central axis from which the pieces are born.
I am especially interested in the different readings that this outfit is, was or could be.

Currently I work in the creation of a collection of author's cloths. Actually they are illustrated evocations of stories. They are presentations of scenes where the characters are collected from classic pictures of painting, documentary photographs or even images of my own family album.
they are open, chaotic evocations. They are cloths with aroma.
How?
The cradle of the sketches are elaborated with varied techniques. Ballpoint pen, Chinese ink, paint or vinyl carving are the most used. with the hand-made serigraphy and the free-hand painting I do the translation to textile support.
Everything is elaborated slowly. this is the rhythm that signs each one of the pieces.
Why?
This project is born like a vital need. Maybe I somehow identify with him. It's like a second skin that you can move as you like more. I always work from playing. here is playing hide or show, to watch or reveal. a staging between tradition and freedom, is a search on that path
